After two discussions with colleagues this week, including as a panelist on WikiEdu’s webinar on Gen AI and the Wikipedia Assignment: Challenges and Opportunities, I decided I ought to complement the course policy on AI by sharing my own AI prompts. I ask students for transparency; perhaps it is helpful for me to do so to. I’ll make an exercise of it, asking students to critique the efficacy of the prompts. I’ll also ask which directions get close to the boundary of misconduct and whether I cross the line.
