: Thank you Mr. Ostrum. With your permission, I will edit the SeT page and add your remarks. Or perhaps you would like to add to the page yourself? I am a teacher of Math at the University level, but no expert on Set Theory. I was simply adding a definition, apparently none too carefully. RoseParks

: To add my remarks would make no sense, since they are just correcting something that shouldn't be there in the first place (whether it is wrong or just obscure I can't be sure of). And I don't feel like writing an entry for sets myself -- actually I am probably not competent to do so. Although I've already seen it to be false in quite a few cases, I am assuming that people should only be writing entries for areas they actually really know something about.

: Hopefully my useful contribution to public pedagogy ultimately will be (inter alia) an interactive formalized development of some branches of mathematics in a proof system such as HOL but I have to learn a lot more before I can do that.

: Please send any replies to actual email, this seems to be a strange way to carry on a personal dialog. If on a subject, the subject can be edited in place, implicitly generating a mailing list of any people interested in it. Otherwise, I see no reason to have my name showing up repeatedly in "RecentChanges". -- Calvin Ostrum
