RockyMountains
A MountaiN range in NorthAmerica, often called the RockieS. The RockyMountains stretch more than 3000 miles from MexicO, through the continental UnitedStates, into CanadA and AlaskA. The highest peak is MtElbert, in ColoradO, which is 14,431 feet above SeaLevel.
Numerous rivers rise in the RockyMountains eventually draining into three of the worlds four OceanS: the AtlanticOcean, the PacificOcean, and the ArcticOcean. These rivers include:
