Manhattan

One of the five boroughs that form the City of New York also called New York County. It is a small island between the Hudson River and the East River, connected to both riversides by bridges and tunnels. The Empire State Building, the theater district on Broadway, the financial center on Wall Street, Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts, and Central Park are all in this small but densely populated island. When one refers to a New York Minute, one refers to the extremely rapid pace of living in Manhattan.
