Using my examples page.

Every time you save/publish a page, you create a new version in its history—designated by the oldid number seen in the page’s URL/addressbar.

create a reflection
- go to your user page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:YOU/
- type reflection at end https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:YOU/reflection
link to a “permanent” version of a page from its history
- Special:Permalink/12345
link to a diff of a comment on a talk page
- Special:Diff/12345/12346
