TeleScope

Instrument composed of at least two LenS es or two MirroR s that increases the observed angular size of objects, as well as their BrightNess.

Used mainly on AstroNomy since GalileoGalilei.

The current generation of telescopes beeing constructed have a PrimaryMirror of between 6 and 8 meters of diameter (for GroundBasedTelescopes).
