Quebec
Quebec is a Canadian province, with a population of 6 million, primarily french-speaking. It is surrounded by over 300 millions of evil anglophones (english-speakers, from the rest of Canada and the United States), and yet, it manages to keep its unique culture and language.
In 1995, 49.9% of Quebecers voted "yes" in a referendum that asked them if they wanted to split away from Canada. Unfortunately, 50.1% voted no, so we're still part of Canada.
