Irina Krush is an American [[Chess]] player. She was born December 24th, 1983 in Odessa, Ukraine. She is widely known for her series of Chess training videos, the "Krushing Attacks" series.

She become known outside chess circles due to a controversy during the well publicized "Kasparov versus The World" chess competition. In this competition, the Internet public voted on moves as recommended by a panel of chess experts. At a crucial point in the game, Krush's vote was for some reason delayed from appearing on the [[MSN]] website. Many observers feel that had her message appeared there, Kasparov would have lost the match.
