In exchange, [[/Orren Boyle|Boyle]] agrees to get the [[/National Alliance of Railroads|National Alliance of Railroads]] to drive the [[/Phoenix-Durango|Phoenix-Durango]] railroad out of [[/Colorado|Colorado]].  None of this is said openly or directly, of course.  [[/James Taggart|Taggart]] also learns from [[/Orren Boyle|Boyle]] that [[/Taggart Transcontinental|Taggart Transcontinental's]] [[/San Sebastian Line|San Sebastian Line]] has been denuded of all but the barest equipment.
