This would be the practice of making a living from cultivation of the land or the commercial raising of animals, as opposed to the study of these disciplines as in Agricultural Science.

Subdisciplines would include Farming (vegetable farming, grain farming, alfalfa, etc.) Cattle ranching, Chicken farming, Turkey farming, Ostrich ranging or Emus, Horse ranching, Rabbit farming, Raising of Fur-bearing Animals, Sheepherding, Goatherding, Pig farming, Orchard Keeping, Vinyard Keeping. etc.)
