<p>At the beginning of the year I <a
href="http://goatee.net/2003/01.html#_21tu-a">mentioned</a> how excited I was
to find the book <em><a
href="http://www.quakerhillbooks.org/cgi-bin/qhb.cgi/product_details?product_id=257">Beyond
Majority Rule: Voteless Decisions in the Religious Society of
Friends</a></em>. Michael Sheeran wrote it as his PhD dissertation, and I'd
like to do something similar, but for on-line open communities. I reread it
this week and posted my <a
href="http://reagle.org/joseph/2003/11/beyond-majority-rule-notes.html">notes/outlines</a>
for those interested.</p>
