More than one colleague has expressed puzzlement as to why I would teach this class, but I really enjoy it. While I, and a few students, might enjoy discussions on the historical nuances of technology or reference works, conflict management is relevant to everyone -- and I do get to discuss Wikipedia NPOV and good faith! I have developed two exercises for understanding cognitive <a href="http://reagle.org/joseph/2008/conflict/notes/exercise-pd-game.odt">priming</a> on cooperation/competition (i.e., prisoners dilemma) and <a href="http://reagle.org/joseph/2008/conflict/notes/exercise-negotiation.odt">integrative bargaining</a> that might be of use to others.</p>
